Junior Boys Volleyball

Junior Boys Volleyball Players are reminded that there will be a practice next Wednesday and Thursday morning to prepare for their first game against McGuigan next Thursday. Please see Mr. Canning at the end of the day to pick up forms.

You are all invited to attend the SPARK LEADERSHIP conference at CANADA'S    WONDERLAND on May 31st. Pick up you permission forms from Ms. Pescador in the gym period 2 & 3.

All Grade 11 SHSM Students
The mandatory trip to Cedar Glen is fast approaching. Pick up you permission forms from Ms. Pescador in the gym period 2 & 3. YOUR ROOM ALLOCATION IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. All forms must be returned from all roommates to secure YOUR room.
Any Grade 12 students who didn't attend last year see Ms. Pescador for your form.

All Grade 10 Students
If you are interested in joining SHSM and having amazing opportunities such as the ones mentioned today pick up your registration form in student services. ALL STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR SHSM, all you need is permission form signed by a parent and returned as soon as possible. Any questions can be answered by Ms. Pescador by appointment in student services, or by your guidance counselor. It's not too late.

Prom Committee

ATTENTION ALL GRADE 12 STUDENTS:

The Prom Committee will be collecting money for your Prom ticket on Friday April 6, 2018 in the cafeteria during all three lunches. Collection will be on this day ONLY!!!!


  • If you have paid for your ticket in full, then bring your completed waiver to the Prom table on that day to pick up your prom ticket.
  • If you have paid a deposit, you will need to bring $40 cash and your completed waiver.
  • If you have not yet paid for prom, but would like to attend, you will need to bring the full $90 cash and the completed waiver.
Prom tickets for guests can be purchased for $90.00 cash on that day as well. Please note: All Students, regardless of whether or not they are bringing a guest, need to bring a completed waiver form when paying for the final deposit. No money will be collected and no prom tickets will be issued without a completed waiver form.

Green waiver forms can be picked up at the Coop Office (room 303)

Girls Indoor Soccer

Please meet in the gym after school tomorrow for practice. A reminder that the tournament is this Wednesday March 28, and the bus will be leaving the school PROMPTLY at 8:00 a.m.

Literacy Preparation for OSSLT

Today, is the last day of drop everything and literacy. But the literacy fun has just begun!! After school literacy program begins Monday after school. Students who registered, please refer to class lists located outside of the main office for room number.

Track & Field

First track practice will be Tuesday - after school. If you did not come to the meeting but still want to participate, come or see Mrs. Pribaz (in Guidance) or Ms. Manson.

SENIOR BOYS SOCCER

Yesterday, the Senior Boys Soccer team travelled to the Hangar and competed in the annual TDCAA Indoor Soccer League Tournament which showcases all teams that will face each other in the upcoming 2018 outdoor season.  Dante jumped out to a great start beating Percy Johnson 5-0 and Charbonnel 8-0 in the opening round robin group stages.  Dante cruised to the finals and defeated Michael Power 2-0, in order to seal their ticket to the final round of the tournament on March 29.  Mr. Fortino and Mr. Turco would like to congratulate all members of the Senior Boys Soccer team.  GO MONARCHS!
