Ontario Universities Fair

The Ontario Universities Fair is taking place this Friday September 22 to September 24 at the MTCC.  This is an excellent opportunity for students who are thinking of applying for university to get first hand information from all the 21 Ontario Universities.

Students currently in grade 12 who will be absent on Friday to attend the fair must sign and submit the Notification of Absence Form to the Guidance Office no later than end of school day on Thursday, September 21st.

TENNIS

Tennis tryouts continue this Friday at the Columbus Center tennis courts.

Players are reminded to bring in a change of clothing, a tennis racket and only on-marking running shoes are allowed on the court.

Tennis tryouts begin this Tuesday and Friday at the Columbus Center Tennis Courts at     3:00 p.m.

Players are reminded to bring a change of clothing, a tennis racquet and non-marking running shoes only.

Players without the proper clothing will not be allowed on the court.

JR. BOYS SOCCER

The grade 9 and 10 boys who were out for their second tryout for the Jr. Boys soccer team last Friday, must check the new list that is posted outside room 302.  If your name is on this list, you must hand in your permission form and payment to Mr. Turco, in portable 6, today after school.

It is imperative that you hand in this permission form with payment today or you will not attend tomorrow's tournament.


GIRLS FIELD HOCKEY

Girls Field Hockey tryout/practice Monday, September 18th and Wednesday, September 20th.

All Girls Grades 9-12 invited to tryouts meet in the gym we will go to JJP/Earlscourt Turf Field.

Senior Boys Basketball

The last day for tryouts for the senior boys volley ball team will take place today after school.

All interested players must attend.



Jr. Boys Soccer

The grade 9 boys who signed up last week will have their their tryout tomorrow Thursday Sept. 14 at Dante's soccer field.  Make sure you have your permission form signed by your parent/guardian in order to participate tomorrow.  If you change in the boys changing room you must not eave any belongings behind.  Make sure you take all your belongings with you after you have changed.  You are to report o the soccer field by 2:50, dressed to participate.

The grade 10 boys who tried out yesterday must look at the list posted near room 302.  If your nae appears on this list you made the second tryout.  The second tryout will take place Friday Sept 15 after school at the soccer field.  Make sure you check this list as it is imperative you show up on Friday for the second tryout.

SHSM NON PROFIT MEETING

SHSM Non Profit students are asked to meet with Ms. Tonelli in Room 309 at the beginning of Period 4, with teachers permisssion.
Jr. Boys Soccer

The grade 10 boys who signed up last week for the Jr. Boys soccer tryout must report to the soccer field, today, after school.  Make sure you are at the soccer field by 2:50, changed and ready to participate.  Make sure you have your signed permission form with you as it will be collected at the filed.

The grade 9 boys who signed up last week will have their tryout on Thursday, September 14 at Dante's soccer field.


Field Hockey

Reminder to all Girls Grades 9-12 that they are invited to try out for the Girls Field Hockey Team.  Come get involved this year at Dante Athletics have fun meet some new people.

Please meet in the gym, we will practice on the field on Wednesday Sept 13th and Friday September 15th.  

Bring shorts/shirts/running shoes.

REMINDER TO ALL GRADUATES ATTENDING THE GRAD CEREMONY ON JUNE 30TH, 2017:

April 21st is the final day to make your payment to attend the Graduation Ceremony.  Please see Ms. Quagliozzi, Head Secretary.  It is important that students pay the full fee so that graduation gowns may be ordered.

ACTIVITY FEE 2017-2018:

Reminder to all students, if you have not paid your activity fee for 2017- 2018 school year, please do so no later than Monday, April 24th.  Please see Ms. Quagliozzi, Head Secretary.

Exam week is quickly approaching.  Exam schedules have been posted around the school and by now your individual teachers should have given you the details regarding their exams.  You must be in full uniform and on time for your exams - no excuses will be accepted.  ALL EXAMS BEGIN AT 9:00 AM.

The schedule is as follows:

MONDAY, JANUARY 30, 2017 - PERIOD 1
TUESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2017 - PERIOD 2
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2017 - PERIOD 3
