A MESSAGE FROM YOUR MENTAL HEALTH TEAM

Our final “tip of the week” is to get enough sleep!

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and wellness. Having a proper sleep routine is essential to brain development and our emotional state.
We need sleep to keep us healthy, active, and stable to perform at our best. When we are well rested, we perform better in school and all other activities. Sleep helps our mood and we are able to solve problems more effectively. It is recommended that “teens and adults get approximately 8-10 hours per night.” So, think about how much sleep you are getting and what you can do to improve your sleep routine.

So, take this weekend to catch up on some Zzzzzz…..
