AUTISM AWARENESS

Did you know the most obvious signs of autism and symptoms of autism tend to emerge between 2 and 3 years of age?

Autism Speaks Canada continues to fund research on effective methods for earlier diagnosis, as early intervention with proven behavioural therapies can improve outcomes.

Increasing autism awareness is a key aspect of this work and one in which families and volunteers play an invaluable role.

Shine a light on autism this upcoming Worldwide Autism Awareness Day on Thursday April 2nd by wearing a blue shirt with uniform pants and shoes. Student Council will be coming around tomorrow to collect any amount of donations. All proceeds will go to Autism Speaks Canada.

Autism speaks. It's time to listen.

Thanks
