Hey Dante! Are you ready for Halloween?! I know I am! If not, get ready for our Halloween Spirit Day this Friday, October 31st! Students AND Teachers will be allowed to wear a costume for the entire day, provided that it is appropriate: no masks, weapons, extreme exposure, etc. If you do not wish to wear a costume, you will also be allowed to wear an orange or black shirt WITH uniform pants. Period 1 will be a pumpkin-carving contest. Every participating homeroom class will compete against each other to carve the most clever and dazzling pumpkin using only the pumpkin by itself. Homeroom teachers will be responsible for bringing in their own pumpkin as well as any necessary tools for carving. The class that carves the best pumpkin will receive a free breakfast from yours truly, Student Council. We need all participating Homeroom classes by this Thursday! Period 3 will be a pumpkin pie-eating contest in the cafeteria during all lunches! We will be posting sign up sheets in the cafeteria to anyone who would like to participate. The last day to sign up will be this Thursday! The winner will receive a coupon for our 40th anniversary line of  Spirit Wear! Period 4 will be a costume contest held in the cafeteria. We will be calling down one student from each Homeroom class and we will choose the best costume from each grade. The winner will receive a gift card to Yorkdale!
