What is Suicide?
Suicide is the second leading cause of death for youth between the ages of 15 to 24. Individuals suffering from a depressive illness carry out 80% of these deaths. Suicide should never be an option. There are a number of places and people we can turn to for help.
Students should not be afraid or embarrassed to seek out help or to talk to any of the caring adults in our school, your parents, or any other trustworthy person in their life. If you're at a crossroads ....reach out to get the help and support you need. There is always a way out. Suicide is not the answer.
Please visit the information booth featuring suicide during all three lunches in the cafeteria or play a game to test your knowledge of mental illness...come out and win a prize!
We hope to see you there!
