Jostens will be back in the school on Thursday & Friday March 1st & 2nd to take additional Ring Orders.

All you need is a $60.00 Deposit to place your Order.

ME-TO-WE COMMITTEE

LISTEN UP DANTE!!!

As a community of people, we are called to action and to care for one another. Over the next few weeks, the Me-to-We Committee will be collecting used batteries in an effort to assist the less fortunate in our Global Community. Did you know that the zinc from one used battery can be generated and used to assist over 100 people? Be the change Dante and donate your used batteries to a receptical in Room 214.

URBAN CULTURE DAY 2012

The very last day to purchase a ticket for Urban Culture Day 2012 is this wed. Feb 22. Urban Culture Day is this Friday beginning at 3:30pm and ending at 10pm in the auditorium. There will be 3 guest speakers, performances by various dance crews from across Toronto, a 3 hour dance with a professional DJ and of course a Caribbean dinner will be served. All of this for the low price of $15.

Also, for those students helping with Urban Culture Day, there will be a meeting in portable 17 at 3pm. Attendance is mandatory. At this time, you must submit any unsold tickets to Ms DeAngelis

JUNIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Congratulations to the Jr Girls Volleyball for an very hard fought season. The girls played hard all season and it ended last night in a playoff game against a very good Pope John Paul Team. The season was a success and highlighted by reaching the finals of the Loretto Tournament earlier in the season. Mr.Finnison and Ms.Medieros are very proud of the commitment and dedication of all the girls at the end of the season. The coaches will miss the core grade 10 starters who are moving up to senior but we have a lot of talent in grade 9 and are excited about this possibility for next season.

SENIOR GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TEAM

Congratulations to members of the senior girls volleyball team for their win yesterday against St. Joseph Morrow Park. After loosing the 1st set 26 - 16 the girls rallied back to win the 2nd set 25 - 12 and the 3rd set 15 - 12.

We wish them the best of luck in the playoffs.
