Role: Eco-gift Wrapper Organization: Toronto Green Community http://www.torontogreen.caLocation: Toronto, Ontario
The Toronto Green Community is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to participate in our eco-friendly gift wrapping program. For the past 9 years we have experienced great successwrapping gifts in an environmentally friendly way (using recycled and eco-friendly materials) for shoppers across Toronto. This year we will be providing eco gift wrapping at four locations across the city: Dufferin Mall, the Yonge Eglinton Centre, the ING Direct Café and Mountain Equipment Coop. As a volunteer you will be working in a team environment and all supplies and training will be provided for you. Customers are offered the eco-gift wrapping service by donation and the funds raised will be used to support TGC's various environmental initiatives across Toronto.

The program will run on various dates from late November up to and including December 24th. Each day will be divided into different shifts and we are asking each volunteer to commit to at least one shift of 4 hours. All volunteers should also attend a training session in November where we will demonstrate eco gift wrapping tips and techniques.

Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering and we will provide you with more information about the registration and training process. If you are interested in volunteering as an eco-gift-wrapper pleasecontact Paula Messina at or call 416-781-7663. SEE GUIDANCE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

Thank you!
