DATE: June 8, 2010

From Thursday to Saturday, the Senior Boys Soccer Team participated in the 2010 OFSAA Soccer Championships in Stoney Creek, Hamilton. The boys placed first in their group and went undefeated in four games, beating St. Mikes in the quarter finals. On Friday morning, even though the boys came up short against East York in the Semi-Finals, they never gave up. They fought through many injuries and reflected determination and class by defeating St. Jean De Brebeuf to win the tournaments bronze medal. This bronze medal not only represents third place, but also determines that out of 190 teams in Ontario, the Dante Senior Boys Soccer team is ranked third overall. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every player on the Soccer Team for their hard work and dedication throughout the entire season. You represented the Dante community in the best way possible and you made us all proud. We would also like to thank our supporters and fans that made the trip up to Hamilton to cheer us on like Mrs. Convertini, Mr. D., Mr. D'Onofrio, and Mr. Hebor.

Dear staff and students, please take this moment to congratulate and acknowledge the following members of the senior boys soccer team in your classes because they deserve it.
